Dialogue with agitating parties in decisive mode: Minister Rai
Pokhara, Jan 8: Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai has said that decisive talks have begun with the agitating front while diplomatic measures are being taken with India to facilitate supplies into the country.
Inaugurating the information technology festival held at the Gandaki College of Engineering and Sciences at Lamachaur here Friday, he said the government was committed to resuming fuel and daily essential supplies that have remain affected since the past few months.
Events like these will help develop Pokhara into an IT centre, he said.
The two-day festival comprises exhibition of software developed by the students, college-level software development competition, essay competition among others. A battery-run bicycle developed by Biraj Bhandari, a student of the college is to be made public at the event, according to the organisers.
