Support to Nepal Police post



Dhunche (Rasuwa), Jan 9: Donors have provided tents and managed solar power at the Nepal Police security station at Rasuwagadhi checkpoint on the Nepal-China border.

The support has been provided at the initiation of the Man Bahadur Tamang, president of Nepal-China Kerung Trade Association.

Tamang said the president of the Tibetan Achar Tourism Services, Surtim, and manager of Kathmandu 1 Hotel Fan provided the financial support for purchasing the tent and installing solar system for the convenience of the security personnel at the border.

The assistance is worth 48 thousand Chinese currency, according to Tamang. The tents and the solar power system were handed over to the Chief District Officer of Rasuwa District, Shivaram Gelal on Friday.

The Nepal Police personnel are staying in temporary post after the police post was destroyed by the April 25 earthquake. RSS
