Government offices sans citizen charter
Jumla, Jan 13: Over a dozen government offices in Jumla district have not placed information board and citizen charter to facilitate service recipients to access to service.
The citizen charters and information boards put up in the district-based government offices here were vandalized in course of the struggle demanding Karnali autonomous province on last July-August.
Service recipients are facing trouble to access service for no notice board in government offices in the district, said Chairperson of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Jumla Chapter Baram Bahadur Mahat.
It has been more than six months since the struggle for Karnali province, the government offices have not shown any interest to bring back the previous practice of providing information on public services through notice board and citizens charter in the district.
