Dhanusha, Jan 14: Vehicular movement on the East-West Highway has become smooth after a long time. Before this, the movement of vehicles was obstructed due to Tarai unrest for past four months.
Vehicles were being escorted by the security forces due to security threat posed by the protesters. The vehicular movement has become normal as the protesters were not willing to obstruct the transport, said Dhalkewar Area Police Inspector Sagar Bikram Rana.
He further said that some transport entrepreneurs were failing to resume their services due to lack of fuel.
