Lawmaker Gurung assists Rs 700,000 to school
Jiri (Dolakha), Jan 14: Lawmaker Parbat Gurung has provided an assistance of Rs 700,000 for the construction of a building for Bhuwaneshwari Secondary School at Jiri Municipality-1.
He provided the assistance to the school, as it was hardly running classes following the earthquake that damaged the buildings.
The school headmaster Angbaba Sherpa informed that they were facing difficulties to resume the classes regularly as the mountainous belt faces snowfall that covers the temporarily constructed sheds.
The school has as many as 300 students.
