Govt fails to control black-marketing; NC leader Singh

Kathmandu, Jan 14: Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakash Man Singh has blamed the government saying it was reluctant to control the black-marketing.

Speaking in a tea-reception programme organized by the Nepal Students’ Union in the capital today, leader Singh said that the black-marketing and price hike were creating hardship to the people, but the Prime Minister was delivering irrelevant speech instead of taking concrete steps in controlling these.

In another context, leader Singh added that the upcoming leadership to be elected from 13th general convention of the party should meet the aspirations of party, cadres and country. The leadership should be able to tackle the problems, he added.

The NSU had organized the tea-reception programme wishing for the success of upcoming general convention of the party.
