Kathmandu, Jan 16: As part of the Bagmati Clean-up Mega Campaign, Gokarna area was cleaned today.
According to a campaigner Ramesh Nepal, as part of the campaign that reaches 140 weeks today, the Sinamangal area was also tidied up again and 18 tonnes of garbage were collected.
“Collecting huge amounts of garbage from the area already cleaned up means that people are yet to be made aware. The campaign should take such matter into consideration,” said Nepal.
Main campaigner and former Chief Secretary Leela Mani Poudyal, Nepal Army, Police and people from various walks of life participated in the campaign.
