Problems due to party being leader-oriented and not policy based: KC
Butwal (Khasyauli), Jan 16: Nepali Congress central member Arjun Narsingh KC on Saturday confided that the problems in Nepali Congress – the main opposition party – surfaced due the party being leader oriented than policy.
KC added that the party must be run on basis of policy and attributed the party’s degeneration due to the cadres’ inclination to leaders by putting away policy in their pockets.
Addressing the first Annual General Assembly and Convention of the Democratic Thought Society – Rupendehi, former Minister KC underscored the necessity for an extensive democratic force for country’s extensive interest.
On the occasion, NC central member Bal Krishna Khand said the country entered a new structure with the onset of the new constitution, and added that Nepali Congress must revamp its statute to suit the new provincial system.
