Acharya elected NATTA chairman
Kathmandu, Jan 18: Madhusudan Acharya was elected the chairman of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) by defeating his nearest rival Mihika Dhakhwa in the voting process. Acharya got 191 votes while Dhakhwa managed 164 votes.
The elections of NATTA held Sunday along with its 52nd annual general assembly elected Acharya’s panel. Election Officer Devi Prasad Bhattarai said that a total of 432 votes were cast out of 454 votes.Likewise, CN Pandey was elected the first vice-chairman while DK Sharma was elected the second vice-chairman of NATTA.
After his election, chairman-elect Acharya said that he would work to yield results along with the institutional strengthening of the NATTA.
