Deuba would be new NC president: leader Mahat
Dang, Jan 19: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat today said that NC senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba would be the new NC president from the party’s upcoming general convention.
The party is holding its 13th general convention on March 3, 4 and 5 in Kathmandu.
Speaking at a press conference in Tulsipur, Dang, he also claimed that aspiration of NC cadres was to make Deuba new party president.He also said that it would be in favour of NC to give the responsibility of leading next government to sitting NC Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel.
