Int’l sculpture workshop in Itahari from January 23
Kathmandu, Jan 20: With the purpose of constructing a tourism site, using sculptures, the International Sculpture Workshop is set to take place in Itahari, Sunsari from January 23 to February 9.
To be organised by the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, the total 26 sculptors (21 from Nepal and five each from India, Japan, Germany, Israel and Malaysia) will participate in the workshop, said the programme coordinator Dhan Bahaur Yakha.The project is expected to cost around Rs 5. 6 million. Earlier, such workshop was organised in Pokhara, Hetauda and Chitwan.
