Government condemns terrorist attack in Pakistan

Kathmandu, Jan 21: The government has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Pakistan on January 20 that caused loss of precious human lives and injured many more. Such atrocious act of terrorism in an abode of knowledge and learning is highly condemnable, said a press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
The people and government of Nepal extend heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the victims of this terrorist attack, their families as well as to the friendly people and Government of Pakistan. Nepal wishes for speedy recovery of the injured.
“Nepal condemns terrorism under any guise and in all its forms and manifestations. We strongly believe that such heinous acts cannot be justified on any ground. We fully support Pakistan’s efforts to counter terrorism and bring the culprits of this terrible crime to justice,” underscores the statement.
