Cooperatives should be made systematic for country economic development: DPM KC
Kathmandu, Jan 27: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Chitra Bahdur KC has stressed the need of making cooperative systematic for the economic development of the country.
Speaking at a press conference held at the ministry today, he informed that the government was preparing to bring Cooperatives Act-2072 to sweep away ill practices in the field of cooperatives.
Similarly, secretary at the ministry Shankar Prasad Adhikari said that the National Cooperative Policy-2069 has already been implemented and that there was need of the hour for having collective endeavour among the government and cooperatives to resolve problems surfaced in the course of its implementation.
