VP Pun calls for speedy reconstruction campaign

Chautara, Feb 1: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun appealed to the government for a fast-track approach for reconstruction of the houses of the earthquake survivors.
VP Pun inaugurated a cultural programme held on the occasion of the 2852nd Sonam Lhosar by Nepal Tamang Ghedung Association – Sindhupalchowk on Monday, and emphasized on taking the country towards economic prosperity by speeding up the reconstruction campaign.
The Vice President spoke of the support on qualitative growth of the region with conservation of the diversity in religion, language and culture and tourism promotion.
In the programme, lawmakers Sher Bahadur Tamang and Dr Thakral Lama, former MP Dawa Tamang and Tamang Ghedung General Secretary Kumar Blon spoke about the characteristics of Sonam Lhosar.
