Passport department begins online pre-enrollment

Kathmandu, Feb 1: The Central Department of Passport is set to begin online pre-enrollment service.

Preparation is on to start the service within 15 days so that the service recipients can submit their entire details for passport through online, said Department’s Director-General Lok Bahadur Thapa.
The applicant will receive a bar code and number after submitting the form online and the passport process starts when one goes to the Department with the number.
“It will reduce costs, avert procedural hassles and ease functions of the Department”, said Director-General Thapa.
