NA’s tribute to Brigadier General Singh



Kathmandu, Feb 1: The Nepal Army (NA) has paid tribute to Brigadier General Bharat Prasad Singh who lost his life in course of a UN peacekeeping mission in Sudan.
He lost his life on January 24 while performing duty as a force medical officer in the conflict-torn country.

Acting Chief of Army Staff Baldev Raj Mahat paid floral tribute to Singh on behalf of the Nepal Army. On the occasion, NA Generals and officers also offered final respect to Singh.

According to the NA’s Directorate of Public Relations (DPR), some 63 NA personnel have so far lost their lives in peacekeeping missions in different parts of the world.
The NA wished for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Singh and expressed condolences to the grief-stricken family members.
