Canyoning festival to promote adventure tourism
Kathmandu, Feb 7: Nepal Rafting and Canyoning Association (NRCA) has decided to promote adventure tourism by organizing canyoning festival.
Aiming at promoting tourism and attracting domestic tourists towards the adventurous sport, more than 100 youths will participate in the sports, said newly elected NRCA Chairman Rajendra Bahadur Lama, adding that it is high time Nepal attracted domestic youths to this adventurous tourism.
“Preparations are underway to hold the festival in any suitable places as Lwanghale of Kaski, Kakani of Nuwakot, Sundarijal of Kathmandu and Bhotekoshi of Sindhupalchok.
