First national workshop on intersex people begins
Kathmandu, Feb 8: The first national workshop on intersex people in Nepal has begun here today.
The Blue Diamond Society has organised the workshop with an objective of raising problems of intersex community in national-level, said Society Chairperson Pinky Grurng.
Gurung said that discussing regarding problem faced by people from intersex community would be discussed.
Executive Director Manisha Dhakal and Deputy Director of the Society, Parashuram Rai, said that issue of intersex people is the common issue of overall LGBTs. The workshop would take place till tomorrow.
