Weather will improve from today’s evening; weather forecasting division



Kathmandu, Feb 8: Nepal has received scanty rainfalls across the country today with the change of weather due to the effect of westerly winds.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Dadeldhura witnessed highest amounts of 25 millilitres rains, while Kathmandu valley received three millilitres.
Likewise, high mountainous and hilly areas also witnessed snowfalls as well, the division said.
Meteorologist Srijan Subedi said that the country witnessed rainfalls across the nation with the change of weather and the weather is gradually improving.
“Weather will improve from today’s evening in the central region and the eastern region will get improved weather from Tuesday,” he said.

The department said that the valley today recorded a minimum 9 Celsius temperature and a maximum 23.5 Celsius.
