Woman dies in road accident
Tanahun, Feb 14: A woman pedestrian was killed in a road accident last night, police said.
Maya Sarki, 42, of Ghirisundhar VDC-8 of the district was injured in the accident at Shuklagandaki Municipality-10, Khairenitar Saturday evening.
Sarki was hit by a motorbike (Ga 10 Pa 1213) at the place and was critically injured. She died in course of treatment at Pokhara fishtail Hospital.
Police have impounded the bike and arrested bike rider for further action.
