Woman kills self
Mahottari, March 1: A woman of Bardibas Municipality-2 in Mahottari district has committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of the house.
Married to Bimalendra Kumar Mahato just a year ago, Monita Devi Mahato, 20, killed self on Saturday night, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Nepal Police Birendra Kumar Singh said.
The police said that Monita Devi committed suicide over a family dispute. Police Inspector Jiban Giri said that a team of police personnel has reached the village for taking stock of the incident.
A family source said that Monita, who had gone for sleeping with her husband in the ground floor of the house, was found hanging in the next room.
