Karnali employment programme training concludes
Humla, March 2: A training workshop was organized here on Monday for promoting employment opportunities in Humla district under the Karnali Employment Programme.
The Karnali Region Development Unit under the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development organized the training workshop in coordination with the Humla District Development Committee.
The secretaries and social mobilizers of 27 VDCs of Humla district took part in the two-day training.
On the occasion, district engineer Saroj Bhandari presented the details of the cash flow to the projects selected and completed in Humla district in fiscal year 2071-72 BS under the Karnali Employment Programme.
Likewise, Section Officer at the Ministry of Local Development Dr Dijan Bhattarai shared that the government has implemented the Karnali employment programme so as to liberate unemployed and disadvantaged people of five districts of Karnali zone from vicious circle of poverty.
