Bijukchhe blames India for industry collapse in Nepal

Bhaktapur, March 10: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) Chair Narayan Man Bijukchhe has blamed India for the collapse of industries and factories in Nepal.
Addressing the farmers’ interaction and Bhaktapur district gathering organized in Bhaktapur on Wednesday, Bijukchhe accused India of collapsing industries of Nepal by sponsoring commission to a handful Nepali leaders.
Noting that India is still eyeing on the hydropower potentials of rivers and rivulets of Nepal, he said Nepal’s production sector was broken down owing to the Terai unrest and blockade imposed at the behest of India.
Leader Bijukchhe also accused India of unofficially exercising its power in Terai planes of Nepal. He said the Terai unrest was not in favour of poor farmers and workers of the region and noted it has rather pushed them to the vicious circle of poverty.
Also speaking on the occasion were Nepali Congress Bhaktapur President Durlab Thapa and farmers attending the programme.
