UML vice-chair Gautam says trade deal with third countries needed

Bhaktapur, March 12: CPN (UML) vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that Nepal should ink trade deals with China and other third countries too besides India.

Inaugurating the convention of the Nepal National Employees Association of Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) on Friday, Gautam said that Nepal should search for the alternatives to India’s blockade saying that Nepal was obliged to face repeated blockades from India due to our dependency on India.
On the occasion, HSEB vice-chairman Dr Chaitanya Sharma, member-secretary Narayan Koirala and other speakers stressed the need of unity among all employees for the development of the HSEB.
Likewise, the convention of the Association concluded last night re-elected Narendra Dhakal as the chairman of the 13-member new working committee.
