Hailstone damages crops in Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur, March 14: The hailstone coupled with rainfall occurred last night has caused massive damages to crops including wheat and musuro pulse.
The farmers in Bedkot, Jhalari, Pipaladi, Dekhatbhuli, Shankarpur and some other areas witnessed more damages from the hailstone.
Farmer Maniram Chaudhary of Jhalari Pipaladi-3 shared that the crops that were almost ready for harvesting were damaged from hailstone and rainfall. He said that production of wheat is expected to go down sharply after the hailstone hit the wheat plants.
Likewise, Basanti Chaudhary said that the hailstone has also caused a heavy damage to the vegetables.
