ANNFSU submits memo on Lipulek to PM Oli



Kathmandu, March 14: All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) close to the CPN (UML) has today submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar.

A delegation led by ANNFSU Chairperson Nabina Lama urged Prime Minister Oli to put clear view regarding Lipu Pass during his visit to China.The delegation also urged the PM to assert clear view before the Chinese government regarding past agreement signed by India and China regarding the Nepali territory, the Lipulek.

Similarly, the organisation also demanded election of the free students union, scrapping of the permission given to Birat Petrol Pvt Ltd to import petroleum products at high price and taking stern action against black marketers.

After receiving the memo, Prime Minister Oli expressed solidarity to the demands raised by the organisation over national and international issues.

ANNFSU Vice-Chair Mahesh Bartaula said that PM Oli also expressed commitment to issue directives to bodies concerned to control black marketing.
