Speaker Gharti urges political parties for support to draft parliament regulations

Kathmandu, March 27: Speaker Onsari Gharti has called on the political parties to extend positive support to draft the Legislature-Parliament Rules of Procedures.

Inaugurating the National Poetry Festival-2072 organised marking the 58th anniversary of Nepal Academy here today, the Speaker said the parliament activities would become more effective and systematic once the Rules is prepared.
The country has entered a new phase with the promulgation of the constitution through the Constituent Assembly, she said, applauding the contribution of the poetry festival in promoting language and culture and giving out a space for talents.
A total 143 poets are taking part in the festival, the Academy said. RSS
