NC President Deuba off to Delhi

Kathmandu April 18: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Monday flied to New Delhi, reportedly on a medical trip for his wife and lawmaker Arzu Rana Deuba.

The Deuba couple are scheduled to return home on Saturday. Deuba’s aide Bhanu Deuba said no any meeting with Indian political leaders during the visit had been scheduled.

Analysts, however, have accorded a considerable significance on this visit as Deuba was recently elected the President and the Parliamentary Party Leader of the main opposition and the largest political party in the House.
