China-provided medical equipments come into operation from today



Chitwan, April 20: Around three months later, many different types of medical equipments provided by the Chinese government to the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur, Chitwan have come into operation from today.

The hospital authorities said that there is a delay as the Chinese team got late to arrive in Nepal to install the equipments worth around Rs 240 million.

The equipments have been installed in the presence of doctors of China and Nepal including executive director at the hospital Dr Chin Bahadur Pun.

Around 37 types of the equipments provided by the Chinese government include microscope, endoscopy, bronchoscope, laparoscopy, ultrasound and CT scan machine among others.
