Education policy needs reform: Minister Pokhrel
Chitwan, April 24: Minister for Education Girirajmani Pokhrel has insisted on the revisions in the existing education policy for the better results.
Taking part in an interaction programme organised by the District Education Office Chitwan here Sunday, Minister Pokhrel said investment in the education did not yield expected results and thus the prevailing education policy should be revised with a focus on education which would ultimately turn beneficial to the people.
The Ministry is committed to formulating the education policy useful to the people evaluating past experiences and achievements, he said, adding that he was effortful to make education accessible to all, focusing on research-based and technical education.
