Former PM Bhattarai’s solidarity to youth staging hunger strike



Kathmandu, May 2: Coordinator at the Naya Shakti (New Force) and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has reached the Khulamanch and expressed solidarity to the youth who are staging a hunger strike demanding employment inside the country.

Unemployed youths are on hunger strike at Khulamanch since Wednesday urging the government to generate employment inside the country. The hunger strike team coordinator former lawmaker Chandra Bahadur Thapa informed that leader Bhattarai reached there and expressed solidarity to them and urged the government hold fruitful talks with them.

As many as 12 youths are on a hunger strike demanding employment, unemployment allowances and soft loan on the basis of academic certificate.

Earlier, lawmaker Ranjit Karna and former Nepal Army chief Rookmangud Katawal reached there and also expressed their solidarity to the youth. RSS
