CPN (Masal) says no to government change

Kathmandu, May 5: The CPN (Masal) has said that it was not in favour of seeking an alternative to the KP Sharma Oli-led government.

In a press statement today, Party General Secretary Mohan Bikram Singh argues the fresh plan to change the government is finding a room for revising the constitution in the interests of India.

“India is effortful to ensure some revisions in Nepal’s constitution not for the liberation of Tarai or Madhesh people. Instead, it wants to meet its target of imperialism,” Singh argued in the statement.

Stating that the change of the incumbent government would hurt the interests of nation, national sovereignty and integration, the party has drawn the attentions of bodies concerned towards ‘bad consequences’ of the government change at present.

It may be noted that party’s legal front Rastriya Janamorcha’s chair Chitra Bahadur KC is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative in the CPN (UML)-led coalition government. RSS
