Construction of bridge over Baruwa River begins

Nawalparasi, May 5: Construction of a concrete bridge has begun over the Baruwa River at Daunnedevi VDC in Nawalparasi. The District Development Committee has released Rs 1.2 million to construct the river bridge.

Two remote villages of Nawalparasi–Daunnedevi- 7 and Rupauliya-3 will be connected with the accessible means of transport once the bridge construction gets completed.

The locals are happy as the river is getting a bridge. They have no way except to take on risks to cross the river in rainy season. RSS
