Federal Alliance picket outside PM’s residence

Kathmandu, May 17: The Sanghiya Gathbandhan , or a federal alliance formed by the Madhesi and Janajati forces, has started sit-in outside PM’s official residence in Baluwatar on the third day of its Kathmandu-centric protests.

The alliance had picketed Singha Durbar on Sunday and Monday but decided to picket the PM residence after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was found to be carrying out regular work from Baluwatar.

A big rally has marched towards Baluwatar after converging in Bhatbhateni. Traffic in Baluwatar and surrounding has been disrupted due to the protest programme.
