NC President Deuba expresses sorrow over casualties due to knife attack in Japan
Kathmandu, July 27: The Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed deep sorrow over the killing of 19 people in a knife attack in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.
A statement issued by Deuba today said that the incident of mass killing in Japan has again saddened the world in the wake of the incidents of terrorist attacks and criminal activities occurred in Turkey, Iraq and Afghanistan over a month, killing many innocent people.
The NC will condemn any of such terrorist attacks and criminal activities in any corner of the world, the statement added.
“I, personally and on behalf of my party, express sympathy for the deceased’s families through the government of Japan and wish them immense strength to move ahead through this sorrowful time,” the statement said. RSS
