PM Dahal directs Secretaries to present action plans within three days



Kathmandu, Aug 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed the Secretaries representing different ministries to present their respective action plans on various areas within three days.

At a programme organized by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) here Sunday, PM Dahal asked the Secretaries to present their action plans including how and when the constructions of the development projects and those of national pride could be completed.

According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, who was also present at the programme, the PM has told the Secretaries to present him work plans through Chief Secretary.

The directive the PM issued also includes offering a vision to the PM to make public administration further effective and smooth, accelerate the pace of the post quake reconstruction activities and relief efforts in the quake-hit districts.

The 39th PM of the country also instructed the Secretaries to include how the discontent regarding new constitution could be resolved and make it acceptable to all, how the agendas related to economic-growth of the country and the like could be materialized, shared Secretary of the OPMCM Shant Bahadur Shrestha.

The secretaries were also asked to present views, ideas and agendas to make the government’s performance transparent and effective, to achieve the goal of ‘Government with Poor’ programme, to make the capital expenditure effective and to eliminate the problems seen in the custom points among others. The PM also made sure that the Secretaries presented their agendas touching on reducing power outage in the country. RSS
