Woman found dead in mysterious circumstances

BHARATPUR, Jan 18: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bharatpur VDC of Mahottari last night.

The deceased has been identified as 20 year old Jasira Khatun, wife of Mohammed Faroj of Bharatpur VDC – 6, District Police Office, Mahottari said.

Jasira’s body was found hanging inside her own room at 8:30 pm, Superintendent of Police (SP) Nal Prasad Upadhaya said. Her husband is in Tamil Nadu, India for employment.

Her body was brought to District Hospital, Jaleshwor for a post-mortem examination. The police have launched further investigation into the death branding it a ‘mysterious case’. RSS
