Amendment bill will be passed addressing Province 5’s voice: Minister Khand

CHITWAN, Jan 24: Defence Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the Nepalese Army (NA) will go for the peacekeeping mission on their own command.
Speaking at a press meet organised by the Nepal Press Union, Chitwan here today, the Minister applauded NA’s role in keeping the national unity and integrity intact. The NA will participate in the United Nations peacekeeping mission by carrying the institution’s flag.
On a different note, he said the demand of the people of province no 5 for no separation between hill and Terai regions is genuine, adding that the constitution amendment proposal will be passed by addressing such voice. RSS
