Shree Pashupatinath Shiva Parvati Chariot Rally to take place on 22 February in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Shree Pashupatinath Shiva Parvati Chariot Rally is taking place on February 22 at the eve of the greatest festival of Hindu ‘Maha Shivaratri’ on the occasion of Bijaya Ekadashi in Kathmandu.

During a press conference organized at the Reporters’ Club Nepal today, the Shree Pashupatinath Shiva Parvati Chariot Rally Main Organizer Committee-2017 issuing a press release today informed that the rally is being organized aiming to spread message- ‘collective effort for peaceful and prosperous society’.

According to the organizer, the great fifth Pashupatinath rally will start at Balkumari Temple and will march to Gwarkho, Sundhara, Mangalbazar, Pulchowk, Bagmati Bridge, Tripureshwar, Jamal, Kamal Pokhari, Gausala and will rest at Pashupatinath temple, where devotees will worship and offer water to God Pashupatinath. Devotees will also take blessing from Shiva Tantrik Guru at Sumargi Memorial Hall at Balkali. Rice pudding and prasad will be offered to the devotees after the end of the formal closing of the ceremony.

Human Welfare Religious Organization is conducting Blood Donation Program at its office at Kuti saugal, Lalitpur at the early hour on February 11, informed the organizers.
