Constituent amendment bill should be passed with correction: Morcha leader Karna

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Leader of Madhesi Morcha Laxman Lal Karna has argued that the constituent amendment bill should be passed with required correction.

Speaking during an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal presided by Club’s President Rishi Dhamala today, he said that the issues mentioned in the amendment proposal about citizenship, language and bordering has to be corrected and then passed.

He added that Morcha would only support in the implementation of constitution if the amendment is made as Morcha demands.

He furthered that Madhesi Morcha were always in favor in election. He also expressed his dissatisfaction over Local Body Restructuring Report. “LBRC report is not acceptable to us. It does not represent population.”
