Two arrested for robbing RS 4.7 million using facebook

CHITWAN, March 2: Police have arrested two conman on charge of swindling Bimala Neupane of Sauraha, Ratnanagar municipality-18 using face book during the past eight months.

According to Chitwan police chief, SP Deepak Thapa, Kalpana Poudel, 26, of Lwang VDC-4 of Kaski and her husband Indra Prasad Poudel, 27 were recently arrested for robbing 4.7 million rupees from victim Neupane.

Neupane was frequently requested to deposit the amount to the account of various people. According to police, Neupane was told to deposit five  million rupees in the given account for claiming the lottery money of one million dollars.

Victim, Neupane had deposited the amount in the given account in six installments. RSS
