PSHC to issue notice on hearing of proposed ambassadors

Kathmandu, March 3: Parliamentary Special Hearing Committee (PSHC) will be issuing a ten-day notice on the individuals recommended for ambassadorial positions in 12 countries.

The written protest and complaints can be lodged against the individuals with appropriate reasons and clarifications at the PSHC within the mentioned date.

The government on February 20 had recommended the names of the individuals for the post in 12 countries and sent the name list to the committee for the hearing process.

The Committee’s meeting held today has decided to issue a ten-day public notice in name of the proposed ambassadors, Committee Secretary Druba Ghimire said.

The government has proposed Lucky Sherpa for Australia, Niranjan Kumar Thapa for Israel, Sharmila Prajuli Dhakal for Oman, Ramesh Prasad Koirala for Qatar, Arjun Jung Bahadur Sing for South Korea, Pratibha Rana for Japan, Yuvnath Lamsal for Denmark, Choplal Bhusal for Bangladesh, Padam Sundas for Bahrain, Bhim Krishna Udas for Myanmar, Biswamber Pyakurel for Sri Lanka and Mahendra Prasad Singh Rajput for Saudi Arabia.
