JHAPA, March 4: The standing committee meeting of the CPN (UML) has expanded its central committee. The meeting has nominated 22 members from Tarai-Madhesh region as central members, alternative members and advisors of the party.
According to a press statement issued by head of party publicity department, Yogesh Bhattarai, the nominated members are Raghubir Mahaseth, Dharmanath Prasad Shah, Ramchandra Yadav, Dharmanath Yadav, Ganga Yadav, Ramdayal Mandal, Rabindra Baitha, Ramchandra Sah, Harinarayan Mahato, Ratneshwar Goit, Lal Babu Yadav and Yadubansha Jha. They have been nominated as the central committee members of the party.
Likewise, Juli Mahato, Naradmani Rana, Manju Chaudhary, Shanta Chaudhary, Hari Rajbanshi, Saroj Yadav, Sudhir Shah and Sarala Yadav were nominated as the alternate members.
Similarly, the meeting has nominated Hanuman Chaudhary and Mayaram Chaudhary from Province 7 as the central advisory members.
The party took this decision on the eve of the Mechi-Mahakali campaign that kicked off from Jhapa earlier today. RSS
