KATHMANDU, March 9: Senior leader of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Sumsher Junga Bahadur Rana said that there was no election favorable environment left province two following the Saptari incident that killed four protesters and left dozens injured.

Speaking during a face to face interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal today, he said, “The environment of Province two is witnessing too much tension, and there is no environment for election,” and urged the political leaders to consider the intense delicacy of the situation before taking any further moves.”

Rana opined that discussions over the constitution amendment bill had to be carried out in new perspective if the current political instability was to be resolved.
