KATHMANDU, March 22: Nepali Congress leader Farmulha Mansur stressed on the need on endorsing the constitution amendment bill before election.
Speaking during an interaction organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Wednesday he argued it was government’s duty to guarantee fearless environment to the people for the upcoming local level election.
He said, “The environment should be peaceful and election-friendly so that all the citizens could vote and candidates could register their candidacy without any fear. Top political parties should strive to bring lead the country to a positive escape.”
Commenting on the issue of IGP appointment and Supreme Court’s decision, Mansur argued that the SC must not interfere on the constitution written by the people.
