Polls only after addressing Madhes grievances: Energy Minister Sharma

RUKUM, April 5: Energy Minister Janardan Sharma said that the local level elections would be held only after addressing  Madhes grievances.

Speaking at an interaction program titled ‘local level elections and constitution implementation’organised in the district , minister Sharma said, “We are consulting with the Madhesi Front on the issues of constitution amendment and election. We are nearing a point of understanding. The Madhes grievances will be addressed before local level election.”

In a different context, he said efforts were underway to produce 8,000 Megawatts electricity soon under the initiative ‘Nepal’s Water and People’s Investment’ and all the preparations were completed for the same. RSS
