Two killed in road mishap in Kavre

DHULIKHEL, April 12: At least two people were killed in a road mishap at Roshi rural municipality-11, Piple of Kavrepalanchowk this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Min Bahadur Poudel, 35, of Karkeswori VDC-3 of Okhaldhunga district while another is yet to be ascertained.

According to Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Mangaltar, Shanker Shrestha, a motorbike (Ba 45 Pa 6753) en route to Sindhuli from Kathmandu, while overtaking a Sumo Jeep with plate number Na 1 Ja 4695, collided with a bus (Ba 4 Kha 603) coming from opposite direction.

Both the motorbike rider and pillion rider breathed their last, Police Inspector Shrestha confirmed.

Six injured are being taken to the Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment. RSS
