Nuwakot local donates 2 ropani land for school

NUWAKOT, April 15: A local of the Narjamandap at Radi rural municipality in Nuwakot district has donated land for the construction of a new building for a local school.

Sherman Tamang donated the land that spans 2 ropani worth Rs 400,000 to Aldanda Primary School, according to School Principal Tikaram Neupane.

The land donated lies in the vicinity of the school that lacked adequate space to build any additional building. The School had only 4 anna of space and been operating from the temporary shelter since the Gorkha Earthquake damaged its earlier building.

Tamang recently transferred the land in the name of the School through the District Land Revenue Office, Nuwakot. A two-roomed building will be constructed in the donated land, said principal Neupane. RSS
