RPP to forge alliance with like-minded parties for election

KATHMANDU, April 23: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is to forge alliance with parties carrying similar ideology and principle in the upcoming local-level elections. The election has been scheduled for May 14.

Accordingly, the party has been discussing with the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML and the candidates shall be selected following a conclusion over the same. In Kathmandu, the RPP district committee has finalized the list for mayor and deputy mayor of the 10 municipalities but it will be made public only after the alliance with other parties is concluded, committee Chair Nawaraj Singhkhada said.

Meanwhile, the party is working to finalize its election manifesto with a focus on local development infrastructure. RSS
