Amendment necessary to save country from conflict: Anil Jha
KATHMANDU, April 28: Leader of Rastriya Janata Party Anil Jha has argued that the constitution amendment bill should be endorsed in order to save the country from possible conflict and uncertain future.
Speaking during an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Friday, he urged political parties to forge consensus among each other and play responsible role so as to protect rights of people.
He asked UML not to misuse their standing as opposition and added, “We have been very flexible regarding the matters and issues of constitution amendment. We have reduced our 103 points amendment demands to 3 points, and yet UML hasn’t supported us.”
“I dare UML party to endorse the amendment bill and compete us in the local polls,” Jha added.
